Noteworthy is the fact that BEACON operates efficiently without reliance on network or Wi-Fi connections, making it ideal for outdoor usage.
Within the app interface, Flares offer a user-friendly feature allowing prompt addition of predefined tags with a simple touch:
- Tagging SHIFTPOD location
- Marking Parking spots
- Designating Meet-up locations
Remarkably, Beacon's tags remain entirely private, visible only to the user unless explicitly shared via a Sharelink with friends. Returning to a specific location is as seamless as pointing the Beacon camera in the direction of your ShiftPod.
